It is our recommendation that, given the number of rental cars that are available in Los Cabos, you should secure your car rental before you arrive. Many US and Canadian Insurance Policies and Major Credit Cards that our clients use, have riders that include Car Rental insurance coverage whilst traveling out-of-country. However, many don't. So, to save a LOT of money renting cars here, duplicating a coverage that you might already have, simply "check with your own Insurance-Provider ....... to see if your Car Rental in Cabo San Lucas in the State of Baja California Sur in Mexico would be covered under your Domestic Policy". Be specific - ask the question above in "parenthises" and if your Insurance-Provider says you are covered, "get it in writing" and bring with you, provide to BUDGET when declining their insurance option. This small action will save you a large amount of money on your Cabo Car Rental !!
